Paruline est un projet de musique indie-folk-trad mené par Charles Labrèche. Puisant dans la richesse de la littérature orale du Québec, Paruline explore chansons, légendes et récits traditionnels en les traversant d’une sensibilité contemporaine. Alliant compositions originales et relectures audacieuses du répertoire traditionnel, le projet façonne un univers sonore où se côtoient folk planant, grooves inspirés de la danse, textures indie-rock et poésie brute. Avec son premier album « À ceux qui veillent », Paruline célèbre l’héritage d’un peuple en mouvement, tout en invitant à ralentir, écouter et s’émerveiller.
